Cancellation Policy

• General:
  • Fully refundable up to 14 days before the booking
    Cancellations within 14 days are subject to a $150+GST cancellation fee
    Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable
• Charter Transportation:
  • No refunds for cancellations received under 48 hours prior to pick-up.
  • In the event of a flight delay, drivers will wait 30 minutes at no additional charge. Delays beyond 30 minutes will be billed at $100/hour plus 5% GST, in 15-minute increments.
  • Valley Shuttles is not responsible for delays caused by road conditions, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. We strongly advise Cancellation Insurance or Trip Interruption Insurance due to the nature of mountainous travel.

Operating Policy

• Alcohol consumption is not permitted on any of our vehicles.
• Standby rates are billed at the equivalent charter rate as the vehicle is taken out of operation during standby time.
• Travellers for departure flights must be ready 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
• Airport Arrivals:
  • YXC (Canadian Rockies International Airport): Valley Shuttles will meet clients at the arrival doors. Our branded shuttle will be parked at arrivals, and the driver will be inside awaiting confirmed passengers.
  • YYC (Calgary International Airport): Valley Shuttles will organize curbside pick-up. Clients must confirm the exact curbside location via mobile, WhatsApp, or email once luggage is collected.
    
• Hourly rates start from the time of departure from our base in Invermere, BC, and end upon return to the base.

Billing Policy

• Additional Hours: Beyond expected charter timing are billed in 30-minute increments.
• Full-Day Charters: Based on a 10-hour day (departure to return).
• Half-Day Charters: Based on a 5-hour charter. Additional hours are billed at $180/hour, up to the federally regulated 13-hour maximum drive time within a 16-hour work shift.
• Last-Minute Changes: Requests made less than 24 hours prior to pick-up will be billed at $180/hour.
• Early Morning & Late-Night Requests:
  • Pick-ups before 6:00 AM or after 8:00 PM incur a $50 surcharge.
  • Safe shuttles after 10:00 PM are charged a $25/hour premium to fairly compensate drivers.
• Forgotten Items: Held for two calendar months. Requests for mailing will incur a $20 service fee plus mailing costs.
• A 15% surcharge is automatically applied to all charter services to cover fuel premiums and driver appreciation.
